Very well said! I couldn't agree with you more. This has been my conflict within my own church ever since becoming vegetarian 10 yrs ago. I am repulsed when the pastor speaks of taking his sons on hunting trips, or when good friends argue the fact that it's our 'God-given right to kill and eat animals'! What a sad day of judgment it will be for those that will have to stand before the Lord and give account for their actions against Gods beautiful creations! I, for one, am thankful for your ministry with all-creatures.org.

Amazing article! I've always felt like an outsider in both lands... so many vegans look down on religion and so many religions think vegans are all lunatics. I was quite impressed with your website too!

This was a very interesting article, I am not a religious person. However, I believe that it was a result of my refusal of the church that I belonged to and their ethics. They just didn't sit well with me, I feel that if your taught that god loves everybody there really shouldn't be any exclusions, so I found it difficult when certain people were considered to be sinners or unwelcome to the church. That's when I decided to just go with what I believe in, I don't need a religion or a church to back up what I think is right. So, basically I just wanted to say I understood where you're coming from about feeling that you weren't accepted in your church and good for you because you stuck with what you believed in.
